Family Seminar & Community Workshop

The Crosbie House Society offers a family seminar and community workshop to relatives and friends of addicted people. It is open to any person who is or has ever been affected by another’s addiction whether the person is in recovery or still using addictively. The workshop addresses problems with alcohol, gambling, narcotics and prescription drugs.

The workshop runs for 2 full days with one evening scheduled for speakers representing various 12 step groups. These can include Alcoholic’s Anonymous, Al-Anon, ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics), Gamblers Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

We believe that addiction is a family disease and that all are affected and all can benefit from a program of recovery.

We welcome you to join us and gain knowledge about this disease, receive tools to cope with situations and find love and support from others who understand and care.

If you wish to attend, require further information about our workshops or need some assistance in coping with your situation, please feel free to call me or any staff member at 1- 866-681-0613 , or e-mail at crosbiehousesociety@ns.aliantzinc.ca

  Hope to hear from you.
